Ibirapitanga

Ibirapitanga is a small city in the State of Bahia, Brazil, located at around 14°9′50″S 39°22′26″W / 14.16389°S 39.37389°W / -14.16389; -39.37389. Its name was originated from the Tupi language, which means Redwood or Brazilwood. The city was founded in 1961 and its economy is based on the cocoa agriculture.
