High Tor State Park is a state park on the north edge of the Town of Clarkstown in Rockland County, New York. High Tor State Park is on South Mountain. According to the book "50 Hikes In The Lower Hudson Valley" by Stella Green and H. Neil Zimmerman, the mountain is labeled as 'South Mountain' on the Long Path trail map, an example of which is on page 110 of the book. South Mountain has two tors named High Tor and Little Tor. Its highest peak, High Tor, is 832 feet (254 m) high.
The park is for day use during the Summer months. The park has picnic tables, a pool and showers, hiking, and a food concession. The Long Path passes through the park.
