Happy Valley Athletic Association (Chinese: 愉園體育會) is a Hong Kong football club. They currently play in the Hong Kong Second Division League. The club is also known simply as Happy Valley (or HVAA). It is historically one of the most successful soccer clubs in Hong Kong, having won the first division league 6 times (after South China and Seiko) and had consistently been in the top division, until recently relegated to the second division after the season 2009-10.
In the 2005-06 season, Happy Valley won the Hong Kong First Division League, losing just one match. The League title was Happy Valley's fourth in eight seasons. However, the team did not win any titles after that season.

Famous quotes containing the words happy and/or valley:
“With liberty and pleasant weather, the simplest occupation, any unquestioned country mode of life which detains us in the open air, is alluring. The man who picks peas steadily for a living is more than respectable, he is even envied by his shop-worn neighbors. We are as happy as the birds when our Good Genius permits us to pursue any outdoor work, without a sense of dissipation.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“To be seventy years old is like climbing the Alps. You reach a snow-crowned summit, and see behind you the deep valley stretching miles and miles away, and before you other summits higher and whiter, which you may have strength to climb, or may not. Then you sit down and meditate and wonder which it will be.”
—Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (18071882)
