The Hafsids (Arabic: الحفصيون / ALA-LC: al-Ḥafṣiyūn) were a dynasty ruling Ifriqiya (modern Tunisia) from 1229 to 1574. Their territories were stretched from east of modern Algeria to west of modern Libya during their zenith.
