The Foothills of California, or the Foothills and Hills of the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California, are limited in this article to the Southern California foothills and hills in the San Gabriel Valley area that are part of the Transverse Ranges in Los Angeles County, California. They are the San Gabriel Mountains foothills and independent low mountain ranges of hills in the regional eastern Greater Los Angeles area.
