Orchestral Excerpts
Pulled from the Symphonic Orchestral literature, "Orchestral Excerpts" contain major solos or technical passages for the flute (and piccolo). These are compliled into lists by orchestras when posting a vacancy for the performer to play in order to obtain a job as an orchestral flute player.
