There are hundreds of conditions that can require tube feeding. Some of the most common conditions requiring tube feeding include prematurity, failure to thrive or malnutrition, neurologic or neuromuscular disorders, inability to swallow, anatomical or post-surgical malformations of the mouth or esophagus, eosinophilic disorders, cancer, and digestive disorders.
