Fantasy Trade Referees
The growing popularity of fantasy baseball has created a niche for fantasy baseball trade referees. Owners of fantasy teams often trade players, and often those trades incite disputes within leagues. Third party websites provide fantasy players a place to have their trades reviewed by a panel "judges" in exchange for a fee. Decisions are rendered based on the specifications (number of teams, statistical categories, etc.) of the players' leagues. These third party sites are becoming a source of controversy due to their questionable value with all the free forums available to modern day fantasy players.

Famous quotes containing the words fantasy and/or trade:
“The search for conspiracy only increases the elements of morbidity and paranoia and fantasy in this country. It romanticizes crimes that are terrible because of their lack of purpose. It obscures our necessary understanding, all of us, that in this life there is often tragedy without reason.”
—Anthony Lewis (b. 1927)
“We are the trade union for pensioners and children, the trade union for the disabled and the sick ... the trade union for the nation as a whole.”
—Edward Heath (b. 1916)
