Released in January 1986 The film grossed about $4,601,256. After the film's theatrical release, the film was released on videocassette by Playhouse Video, the children's video division of CBS/FOX Video and in Canada by Cineplex Odeon. To this day, the film has never been released on region 1 DVD and as of February 26, 2010, 20th Century Fox has no current plans to release the film on region 1 DVD.
