Famous quotes containing the words early, life, legal and/or career:

And early in the morning he came walking toward them on the sea.
    Bible: New Testament, Matthew 14:25.

The work of art, just like any fragment of human life considered in its deepest meaning, seems to me devoid of value if it does not offer the hardness, the rigidity, the regularity, the luster on every interior and exterior facet, of the crystal.
    André Breton (1896–1966)

I am opposed to writing about the private lives of living authors and psychoanalyzing them while they are alive. Ernest Hemingway (1899–1961)

    Letty Cottin Pogrebin (20th century)
