Famous quotes containing the word family:

Welcome to the great American two-career family and pass the aspirin please.
    Anastasia Toufexis (20th century)

My family pride is something inconceivable. I can’t help it. I was born sneering.
    Sir William Schwenck Gilbert (1836–1911)

The family isn’t likely to have breakfast together if somebody didn’t remember to buy eggs, milk, or muffins. Housework maintains an orderly setting in which family life can flourish.
    Letty Cottin Pogrebin (20th century)
