Education
Debra Fischer received her bachelor of science from the University of Iowa in 1975, a masters of science from San Francisco State University in 1992, and her PhD from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1998. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California at Berkeley while managing the Lick Observatory planet search program.
