In real life, Fishel dated her Boy Meets World co-star Ben Savage. She dated former 'N Sync member Lance Bass, who was her date to her high school prom. In a 2010 interview, Fishel stated she was accepted and planned to attend California State University, Fullerton to complete her degree in psychology. She currently lives in a modest Hollywood home.
