Student Population
Community of Peace Academy serves a diverse population of over 700 students. Within the student body, 60% are Hmong, 30% African American and recent African Immigrants, and 10% Hispanic and European American students. Eighty-seven percent of students qualify for free or reduced-cost meals and 60% are English Language Learners.
The individualized attention each student receives is reflected in the students' and parents' dedication to their Community of Peace Academy education: annual K-12 attendance rates are at 97%.
