The CAF is an all-volunteer organization, made up of members from all backgrounds. Membership is open to all men and women, age 18 or older. Those who are 12 years of age or older, may join as Cadet members. You need not be a veteran nor a pilot to join the CAF. Famous quotes containing the word members:

Two myths must be shattered: that of the evil stepparent . . . and the myth of instant love, which places unrealistic demands on all members of the blended family. . . . Between the two opposing myths lies reality. The recognition of reality is, I believe, the most important step toward the building of a successful second family.
    Claire Berman (20th century)

For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
Bible: New Testament, 1 Corinthians 12:12.

    Safe in their Alabaster Chambers—
    Untouched by Morning
    And untouched by Noon—
Sleep the meek members of the Resurrection—
    Emily Dickinson (1830–1886)
