Kevoian is almost always seen wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers hat as a tribute to his father, who was a longtime employee of the Dodgers. Bob is an avid guitar player and writes some of the lyrics and music for the show's comedic parodies. Kevoian's brother-in-law (Becky's brother) is world-famous tuba player Rex Martin. Bob's younger brother is actor Peter Kevoian. His mother was on Let's Make a Deal and won a Brunswick pool table, which she traded for cases of oyster stew. She retired from the Los Angeles County Office of Education in Downey, California. Bob has had his mustache since June 18, 1969 and celebrates its birthday every year. Bob also likes to collect "large" ordinary things, like coffee cups or safety pins that are extremely large compared to their normal sizes. Bob has a collection of these "large" items in his studio.

Famous quotes containing the words personal and/or life:
“The secret point of money and power in America is neither the things that money can buy nor power for powers sake ... but absolute personal freedom, mobility, privacy. It is the instinct which drove America to the Pacific, all through the nineteenth century, the desire to be able to find a restaurant open in case you want a sandwich, to be a free agent, live by ones own rules.”
—Joan Didion (b. 1934)
“The world is upheld by the veracity of good men: they make the earth wholesome. They who lived with them found life glad and nutritious. Life is sweet and tolerable only in our belief in such society.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
