Bina Etawa

Bina Etawa is a town and a municipality in Sagar district in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Bina is a taluk headquarters town and second largest city of Sagar district after Sagar. Bina is on its way at emerging as one the major cities in the state of Madhya Pradesh with a rapid rate of Economical Growth. An Important Historic City Named Eran,which is known as the southern gate of bundelkhand is situated very near to the City. Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL), a company promoted by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) with equity participation from Oman Oil Company Limited (OOCL) has developed up a 6 MMTPA grass root refinery at Bina, District Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India. with the investment of Rs. 12,500.00 Crores / USD 2,575.00 Million . Also a 5 x 250 MW Thermal Power plant By Jaypee Group is in progress which had a capacity of 250x5=1250 MWs and thus is a leading project towards heading the state towards full-time electricity supply. Besides this the area around the city is rich in agricultural products. With an International Standard Production of Wheat. Bina is also a very important railway junction of West Central Railways and has its own importance in country's rail traffic.The station is on the Bhopal-Jhansi rail route. It also connects Kota and Sagar-Katni.
