Winter season starts from Nov. to the end or midst of Feb. and Summer season starts from March to the midst of June. Average minimum temperature recorded in the city is 7°C in January.Whereas the average maximum temperature in may is 40.0 °C. Average rainfall is around 1235/mm annually. In monsoon the wind-direction is from south-west and in winter the wind direction is normally from the north-east of the city.
