Famous quotes containing the words big, yellow and/or taxi:

There are big men, men of intellect, intellectual men, men of talent and men of action; but the great man is difficult to find, and it needs—apart from discernment—a certain greatness to find him.
    Margot Asquith (1864–1945)

Tell me how many beads there are
    In a silver chain
    Of evening rain,
    Unravelled from the tumbling main,
And threading the eye of a yellow star:—
So many times do I love again.
    Thomas Lovell Beddoes (1803–1849)

I have done almost every human activity inside a taxi which does not require main drainage.
    Alan Brien (b. 1925)
