History
Padma Vibhushan Lala Hansraj Gupta established the first Bal Bharati in 1944 near the Central Ridge in New Delhi. The school spread over six acres is now housed in two wings - Pusa Road and Ganga Ram Hospital Marg. Other Bal Bharati Schools have since been set up across India.
