Anglican Fellowship of The Delaware Valley

The Anglican Fellowship of the Delaware Valley, so named because it encompasses Anglican churches and missions within the Delaware valley, is an association of Anglican churches in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey that ascribe to the Affirmation of St. Louis and are affiliated with Forward in Faith-UK.

The Fellowship is headquartered at the Church of the Transfiguration(DHC), in Phoenixville, PA, and is led by Bishop Paul C. Hewett.

Famous quotes containing the words anglican, fellowship and/or valley:

    I was the rector’s son, born to the anglican order,
    Banned for ever from the candles of the Irish poor;
    The Chichesters knelt in marble at the end of a transept
    With ruffs about their necks, their portion sure.
    Louis MacNeice (1907–1963)

    A Country is not a mere territory; the particular territory is only its foundation. The Country is the idea which rises upon that foundation; it is the sentiment of love, the sense of fellowship which binds together all the sons of that territory.
    Giuseppe Mazzini (1805–1872)

    How old the world is! I walk between two eternities.... What is my fleeting existence in comparison with that decaying rock, that valley digging its channel ever deeper, that forest that is tottering and those great masses above my head about to fall? I see the marble of tombs crumbling into dust; and yet I don’t want to die!
    Denis Diderot (1713–1784)
