Post-playing Career
In 2007, Kanchelskis became the sporting director of Russian 1st division football club FC Nosta Novotroitsk. After Nosta was relegated to the third-tier Russian Second Division, Kanchelskis was appointed in December 2009 as the manager of FC Torpedo-ZIL Moscow. For 2011 season, he moved to FC Ufa.
