Aldridge-Brownhills (UK Parliament Constituency)
Aldridge-Brownhills is a borough constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Labour held the constituency from its formation in February 1974 until 1979, when it was won by the Conservatives who have held it ever since, even at their landslide defeat of 1997 which saw Labour claim even some of its "safest" seats.
