Famous quotes containing the words space and/or wing:

    Shall we now
Contaminate our fingers with base bribes,
And sell the mighty space of our large honors
For so much trash as may be grasped thus?
I had rather be a dog and bay the moon
    Than such a Roman.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

    Sweet Cupid’s shafts, like destiny,
Doth causeless good or ill decree.
Desert is born out of his bow,
Reward upon his wing doth go.
What fools are they that have not known
That Love likes no laws but his own!
    Fulke Greville (1554–1628)
