"One Minute" gained a significant amount of radio airplay in Australia, subsequently becoming the number one most added song track in the country on August 10, 2007. On September 3, 2007, Sony BMG Australia confirmed "One Minute" as the second single from My December set to be released in Australia on September 22, 2007. Clarkson did a 5 day promo tour from September 27 to October 2. She promoted her new single "One Minute" as well as talking on various shows about My December, an activities set which included several high-profile TV performances, events and exclusive showcases in Melbourne and Sydney.
Subsequently "One Minute" became the show opener on her October 2007-commencing My December Tour.
