Famous quotes containing the words long and/or hood:

    The summer that I was ten—
    Can it be there was only one
    summer that I was ten? It must

    One more Unfortunate,
    Weary of breath,
    Rashly importunate,
    Gone to her death!

    Take her up tenderly,
    Lift her with care;
    Fashioned so slenderly,
    Young, and so fair!
    —Thomas Hood (1799–1845)
