Kasauti Zindagii Kay (Officially called as Kasauti Zindagi Ki) (English: The Test of Life) was an extremely popular Indian Soap Opera that aired on STAR Plus channel from 2001-08, The Show stars Shweta Tiwari, Cezzane Khan & Ronit Roy in Leads, and Urvashi Dholakia in Villainous Role. The Show was a great commercially and critically Successful, and Went to win many awards and nominations, The Show gained a very high TRP Charts. and It was from one of the most Successful Show of India, The Show from its starting and till its ending was not bored, Like the other Long running shows was bored by Watchers/Viewers.

The Show was the Story of Prena and Anurag Who eventually falls in love with each other, But they never get closer, and Komolika makes plans against, It describes Anurag and Prerna—lovers who were separated throughout their lives but achieved union in death

It was the 2nd most watched Series. The Show was also SPL Honoured for 3 to 4 times. The show ranked at no. 3 among Indian TV Serials after Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and in front of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Balika Vadhu. It was the Balaji Telefilms 3rd longest serial and India's 5th Longest running show.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay in its Sinhala dubbed version Praveena is broadcast by Sirasa TV. It's a popular teledrama in Sri Lanka, too. Shweta Tiwari once came to Sri Lanka for the promotion of Praveena. Some of the names of the characters are somewhat different from the Hindi version.
