Music

Music performed at games includes a wide variety of classic pep band songs, and some HCGTMB original arrangements. Favorite pep band songs include:

"Cuban Coffee", "Danger Zone", "Gimme Some Lovin'", "Hey! Baby", "An Irish Party in Third Class" (from the movie Titanic), "Land of a Thousand Dances", "Magic Carpet Ride", and "Sweet Caroline".

The Band also plays the theme songs to several sports shows, including ESPN's SportsCenter, NFL on Fox, CBS's "Road to the Final Four."

The field show is the highlight of the Marching Band season. Field shows generally include three to five songs with a uniting theme.

2012: "The "Goodtime" Falls in Love" Show 1: "Haven't Met You Yet", "Somebody to Love", "Creep", "Chapel of Love", "Never Gonna Give You Up". Show 2: "Sweet Child o' Mine", "Welcome to the Jungle", "Paradise City".

2011: "Operation Goodtime" The Spy Show: "Get Smart," "Mission Impossible," "The Pink Panther," "Espionage," "James Bond Closer Medley." The Ska Show: "Riding the Fourth Wave," "Sell Out," All My Best Friends Are Metalheads," and "Don't Let the Good Times Past You By".

2010: "Let's Run Pregame for the 100th Time!": "Just Dance/Yeah!," "Let's Get Loud/Party in the USA", "Let's Groove"

2009: "Progression of Pop": "867-5309/Funkytown," "The Impression That I Get," and "Viva la Vida/Let's Get It Started"

2008: "British Invasion": "Paint it Black," "Pinball Wizard" from "Tommy", and "Can't Buy Me Love/Magical Mystery Tour"

2007: "As Heard on The Fox": Carry On Wayward Son, More Than a Feeling, and Livin' on a Prayer

2006: "Songs We Like": Thriller, Beatles Medley, including Yellow Submarine and Eleanor Rigby, and Invisible Touch

2005: "We're Funky!": Spinning Wheel, Funk Medley, and September
