Surpass The UK and The USA

In November 1957 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the October revolution, countries of the Communist Party leaders gathered in Moscow. The first Secretary of the Central Committee Khrushchev presented a target, not only to catch up with but also exceed the United States in the next 15 years through peaceful competition. Mao Zedong so inspired by the slogan of the action, China put forward the slogan of the action: 15 years to catch up with and surpass the UK.
