Famous quotes containing the words military and, military and/or service:

Weapons are an important factor in war, but not the decisive factor; it is people, not things, that are decisive. Mao Zedong (1893–1976)

There are many examples of women that have excelled in learning, and even in war, but this is no reason we should bring ‘em all up to Latin and Greek or else military discipline, instead of needle-work and housewifry.
    Bernard Mandeville (1670–1733)

In the service of Caesar, everything is legitimate.
    Pierre Corneille (1606–1684)
