Wyborowa
Wyborowa (adj. lit. selected, from Polish wybór - selection) or Wódka Wyborowa is a brand of Polish vodka. Its production started in 1823 in a distillery owned by Jewish businessman Hartwig Kantorowicz in Poznań, then in Prussia. The adjective wyborowa (selected) was used in a favorable press article and then added after the word vodka resulting in the final name Wódka Wyborowa.
