WXXL
WXXL (106.7 FM, "XL 106.7") is a contemporary hit radio station licensed to Tavares, Florida, USA. It primarily serves the Greater Orlando metropolitan area. It first began broadcasting in 1969 under the call sign WLBE, as a MOR-format radio station. The station began broadcasting under the "WXXL" callsign in 1990, to serve as the Top 40-format radio station for the Central Florida area. The station is currently owned by Clear Channel Communications, broadcasting from its Maitland studio and transmitting from Winter Garden.
