WXGA-TV digital channel 8, part of the GPB network is licensed to Waycross, Georgia. It serves the southeastern corner of the state, including the lower portions of the Georgia Atlantic Coast and the Okefenokee Swamp, from a transmitter located south of Hasty; the signal travels in about a 50-mile (80-km) radius from the transmitter site.
