World Usability Day

Established in 2005 by the Usability Professionals' Association, World Usability Day or Make Things Easier Day occurs annually to promote the values of usability, usability engineering, user-centered design, universal usability, and every user's responsibility to ask for things that work better. The day adopts a different theme each year. Organisations, groups or individuals are encouraged to hold events to mark the day, optionally according to that year's theme.

Famous quotes containing the words world and/or day:

This world is a place of business. What an infinite bustle! I am awaked almost every night by the panting of the locomotive. It interrupts my dreams. There is no sabbath. It would be glorious to see mankind at leisure for once. It is nothing but work, work, work.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

Boundless in your charity, but shrewd and cautious as a lender, you delight all those today whom you made beggars the day before.
    Franz Grillparzer (1791–1872)
