Woodcroft College is an Anglican Church school for students from Reception to Year 12, located in the southern Adelaide suburb of Morphett Vale. The college's motto is the Latin phrase Perservera in Fide, which when translated reads Preserve in Faith.
Founded in 1989, the college is currently celebrating 24 years of operation. Despite being named after the suburban area of Woodcroft, the school is located in Morphett Vale. Woodcroft College offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma and the Junior School runs on the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) whilst the Middle School follows the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). Year 11 and 12 students are offered SACE, Vet and IB. The College logo has individual elements that represent a particular value: an empty cross as a sign for hope; a serpent as a reminder of faith; a heart shaped shield as a token of love; and a 'W' inside the cross representing the Woodcroft College Community. The College colours of navy blue and gold are associated with the Patron Saint, Hilda of Whitby, while the red is a liturgical (seasonal) colour of the Christian churches.

Famous quotes containing the word college:
“The logical English train a scholar as they train an engineer. Oxford is Greek factory, as Wilton mills weave carpet, and Sheffield grinds steel. They know the use of a tutor, as they know the use of a horse; and they draw the greatest amount of benefit from both. The reading men are kept by hard walking, hard riding, and measured eating and drinking, at the top of their condition, and two days before the examination, do not work but lounge, ride, or run, to be fresh on the college doomsday.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
