Wolf Mountain

Wolf Mountain (formally titled Wolf Creek Utah Ski Resort) is a small local ski area in the Ogden Valley near Eden, Utah. The area was known as Nordic Valley until June 29, 2005, when it was acquired by the nearby Wolf Creek Golf Resort.

The resort is known for its inexpensive tickets and as a good place to take children for their first introduction to skiing or snowboarding. Wolf Mountain has been described as having "the least expensive skiing and riding in Utah".

Famous quotes containing the words wolf and/or mountain:

    ‘O opportunity! thy guilt is great,
    ‘Tis thou that execut’st the traitor’s treason;
    Thou set’st the wolf where he the lamb may get;
    Whoever plots the sin, thou point’st the season;
    ‘Tis thou that spurn’st at right, at law, at reason;
    And in thy shady cell, where none may spy him,
    Sits Sin to seize the souls that wander by him.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

    He was a fool—a brilliant man and I loved his beard, and there was the mountain ax in his brain, and all the blood poured out, and he could not see the Mexican sun. Your people raised the ax, and the last blood of revolutionary mankind, his poor blood, ran into the carpet.
    Norman Mailer (b. 1923)
