The addition of original articles began soon after, created by WikiPilipinas volunteers and its editorial team. All text in WikiPilipinas was originally licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL), but on March 26, 2011, it migrated to the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.
