White Tree of Gondor - Film

Film

The finding of the sapling is not seen in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003). At the time of the crowning of Aragorn the previously dead tree has returned to life and is in full blossom.

Famous quotes containing the word film:

A film is a petrified fountain of thought.
    Jean Cocteau (1889–1963)

Film music should have the same relationship to the film drama that somebody’s piano playing in my living room has to the book I am reading.
    Igor Stravinsky (1882–1971)

This film is apparently meaningless, but if it has any meaning it is doubtless objectionable.
—British Board Of Film Censors. Quoted in Halliwell’s Filmgoer’s Companion (1984)
