High Line
The High Line has been turned into an elevated park which opened in June 2009. The first phase of the park runs from Gansevoort Street to 20th Street. The tracks parallel Washington Street for much of their journey. In June 2011 a second phase of the elevated park opened from 20th Street to 30th Street.
