Replacement
As part of the Perth City Link project, the station will be replaced with a A$249m underground facility at the same location. Design of the new underground facility has been awarded to Woodhead Architects in a joint venture with DP Architects (from Singapore) and Arkkitehtitoimisto Davidsson & Tarkela Oy (from Finland). Construction is scheduled to commence in 2014 with completion in 2016.
