Weapons

1. Geom (Sword)
2. Jung-geom (Straight Sword - 37 inch blade)
3. Dan-geom (Short Sword) -- About one-third the size of a standard sword.
4. Kal-geom (Knife)
5. Dan-do (Knife or Short Sword)
6. Wol-do (Moon Knife - a type of halberd)
7. Dok-gi (Battle Axe)
8. Bu-chae (Fan) -- The fan skeleton may be made of metal or bamboo.
9. Ji-pang-i (Walking Cane)
10. Bat-jul (Rope)
11. Jeol-bong (Flail, Jointed Staff) -- Ssang-jeol-bong are more commonly known as nunchaku, and sam-jeol-bong as three-section staffs.
12. Dan-bong (Short Staff)
13. Jung-bong (Middle Staff)
14. Jang-bong (Long Staff)
15. Chang (Spear)
16. Gung-si (Bow & Arrow) -- Traditional Korean archery utilizes a “thumb” draw.
