Wayne Mc Indoe
Wayne McIndoe (born 27 August 1972, in Paraparaumu) is a field hockey player from New Zealand, who earned his first cap for the national team, nicknamed The Black Sticks, in 1998 at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. The defender/midfielder was named captain of the young New Zealand side which met Malaysia in March 2005. Now a veteran of over hundred games for the Kiwi's, McIndoe leads by example both off and on the field and is one of the most consistent players in the side. He moved from Wellington to Auckland in 2003 to work on his hockey development.
