Washington State Route 302 - Route Description

Route Description

It begins at State Route 3 and goes by Coulter Creek State Fish Hatchery and Minter Creek State Fish Hatchery and Key Center. It eventually ends in Purdy at the junction with State Route 16. This highway is used by those wanting to go from Shelton over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge to Tacoma (because Puget Sound is in the way, one's only other option is taking U.S. Route 101 to Interstate 5.)

Famous quotes containing the words route and/or description:

The route through childhood is shaped by many forces, and it differs for each of us. Our biological inheritance, the temperament with which we are born, the care we receive, our family relationships, the place where we grow up, the schools we attend, the culture in which we participate, and the historical period in which we live—all these affect the paths we take through childhood and condition the remainder of our lives.
    Robert H. Wozniak (20th century)

Whose are the truly labored sentences? From the weak and flimsy periods of the politician and literary man, we are glad to turn even to the description of work, the simple record of the month’s labor in the farmer’s almanac, to restore our tone and spirits.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
