VXO

Växjö Småland Airport (IATA: VXO, ICAO: ESMX) is an airport in southeastern Sweden, in the southern part of the province of Småland. The airport is located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northwest of the town centre of Växjö. The airport is owned by the county of Kronoberg and the city of Växjö. A small share is held by the municipality of Alvesta. The connection to Copenhagen Airport has been closed down due to faster trains and the Oresund Bridge (although it was operated again for a few months in 2012 by Cimber Sterling until its bankruptcy).
