Brief History
Strength India Educational Society started Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) in year- 2000, which is affiliated to G.G.S.I.P. University and duly recognized by Bar Council of India.
VIPS started functioning with two academic programmes namely Bachelor of Information Sciences BIS(Hons.) and integrated 5-year course in law i.e. LL.B.(Hons.), both the courses accredited by G.G.S.I.P. University.In 2002 university granted an additional academic programme BJ(MC).
Impressed with the infrastructure and the facilities provided by VIPS at its campus, the GGSIP University and Bar council of India have granted the institute permission for an additional intake of 80 students in LL.B.(Hons.) course, thus becoming the only institute to get this distinction. VIPS is also running BCA with intake of 100 students (the normal intake being 60 at other institutes) and BJ(MC) with 120 students (the normal intake being 60 at other institutes).
