Tech and now Clemson and Barbara Rothbaum of Emory Univ., both in the Atlanta, GA area, have done extensive work in VRIT, and also have several patents and founded Virtually Better, Inc. In the United States DOD continues funding of VRT research and is actively using VRT in treatment of PTSD.
