He was part of the Albania's national football team that won the Rothmans Trophy in Malta which was held in early 2000. He scored his only international goal in the finals of the competition against the home team Malta which proved to be the trophy winning goal. Overall that year Sinani earned 4 in total but none of those where competitive FIFA or UEFA games.
