Facilities
Violet Town has a single platform on the eastern side of the broad gauge line, with a level crossing located at the north end. Riggs Creek Loop is located three kilometres to the south on the broad gauge line, and is the regular crossing point of broad gauge trains between Seymour and Wodonga. The standard gauge line runs behind the platform, with Violet Town Loop located to the north.
