Committees and Clubs
There are various committees and clubs which are run primarily by the students of VGSOM. These include the Placement Committee, the Corporate and Media Interaction Committee (CMI), the Alumni Committee, the Admissions Committee, the Acad Committee among others. In addition to these committees, VGSoM boasts of strong clubs specializing in Marketing(MAD), Finance(Finterest), ScOpe(Operations) and Consultancy. All of these are run and managed by the students themselves.

Famous quotes containing the words committees and, committees and/or clubs:
“Cry cry what shall I cry?
The first thing to do is to form the committees:
The consultative councils, the standing committees, select committees and sub-committees.
One secretary will do for several committees.”
—T.S. (Thomas Stearns)
“A committee is organic rather than mechanical in its nature: it is not a structure but a plant. It takes root and grows, it flowers, wilts, and dies, scattering the seed from which other committees will bloom in their turn.”
—C. Northcote Parkinson (1909–1993)
“It is always a practical difficulty with clubs to regulate the laws of election so as to exclude peremptorily every social nuisance. Nobody wishes bad manners. We must have loyalty and character.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
