Villeneuve-sur-Lot (; in the Gascon dialect of Occitan language: Vilanuèva d'Olt) is a town and commune in the Lot-et-Garonne department in south-western France. The commune was formerly named Villeneuve-d'Agen.
Villeneuve-sur-Lot is located 22 km northeast of Agen. The town is divided into two unequal portions by the Lot River, which here runs between high banks.
